Hey! Just popping in.

Nothing really new going on in my life. I wish though! I would really like to try and make a dress for myself a la Marisa Lynch style. She's the owner of the blog New Dress A Day and basically she has 365 dollars to make a new dress each day. She uses thrifted garments and modifies them to be more trendy. It's really fascinating! 

OF course I also have a list of outfits I need to take pictures of for my chic blog. The last two times I had a chance the person never took pictures of me... Ugh. I don't know. Not going to get into it now.

Fall is here now. Unfortunately most of my warm wear options are hooded sweaters and that isn't really cute. :|

I need more coats/plain sweaters. Unfortunately this means I need money which i can't afford to spend right now because I have to pay a ticket for running a red light. :<

I have the ballsiest luck right now holy fuck. At least I have a job and can afford it eventually! I'm actually being given a lot more hours at my work right now so that is great. I really want to work on Halloween, it'd be pretty legit if we could kinda dress up for it. I'd maybe wear my Taiga wig and make matching tiger ears for it. I hope I can see Drew around Halloween. That'd be fun.

I don't know what else to say so I'll stop there.

So:

Sacanime was okay. I was Kanra on Friday, Listen!! Yui on Saturday and Hinata on Sunday.

Spent a while there on Friday and Sunday, not so much on Saturday. Only like, 2 hours on saturday. I was late getting there and missed our whole K-ON group shoot. :<

Most of the pictures on my camera were from Kanra so:

I spent the night at Drews the whole weekend. It was nice to have an open space and bed to sleep in by myself.

FFFFF. I realized after our small K-On photoshoot I'd left on my necklace. I will be shooping it out of each picture.

Yeah so Drew filled in to play with his brothers soccer team that morning. Started late, finished late. And I still had to finish my shirt womp.

There was supposed to be a Naruto gathering on Sunday but it kinda failed. A lot of peopel actually called out to me and asked for photos though! It was awesome. B]

I ended up staying until monday morning to go to a party with Drew and his friends. It got pretty crazy. Anyways, Drew is leaving this Friday to go to U of 

Oregon. It's very sad and it will be tough, but we have decided to stay together and stick through with it.

Possibly one of the best things ever, ever. I love all the club music on there. I found a bunch of K-ON! remixes and that makes me very happy. Right now I am searching Paramore mashups. I already have a bunch of songs downloaded from there. it's all free however some songs don't have download links or have reached their limit. :<

Either way, it is amazing.

I'm prepping now for SacAnime this weekend. All I need is to finish my Kanra jacket and my Yui shirts. I have a lot fo other things I need to get too. :< All my pay checks have gone into these. After this I will probably only make one more costume for Fanime next year.

On a more somber note, my boyfriend Drew is leaving to go to the University of Oregon next week. To think this might be the last time I ever see him really hurts. But hopefully we will stay together and at elast we'll save money on gas from driving to see each other so often? I'm just kinda numb on the subject. I don't want him to leave me.

I hate myself.

I hate how fat I am. I hate it. You couldn't understand because you're skinny and always have been. I've had to fight for this. I lost 20 pounds for nothing. I'm still a huge whale cow monster. I hate you so much you don't even realize it. You're either my best friend or you're cold to me. You're so pretty and fun and you don't even see it. I resent you so much. I wish I were dead so I would never have to feel this way ever again.

My best friend Priscilla sent me this song and I'm so in love with it. It was featured in the movie Kick Ass, which I didn't see because I thought Hit Girl was a stupid character. But with a soundtrack like the one it has, I may over look it.

Also, her birthday is this saturday. Unfortunately, I will be on vacation with my boyfriend, Drew, during this weekend, and won't be able to share it with her. If Drew wasn't leaving to go to Oregon for college, I wouldn't go, but seeing as we've barely spent the summer together anyways... Ugh. i wish I could change a lot of different things I can't control.

Anyways. I got some new tights for my Yui costume!

A million and one times better than those other ones. I'm contemplating on whether I should remake the dress. We'll see on that. It looks fine, but it's quite short for what it should really bee. 

I also bought new wigs:  Rose 144 and Clover 2 from shop.cosplay.com.

Rose is going to be for my Taiga Aisaka cosplay, and Clover for my Kanra cosplay.

I'm excited, but I can't find a good jacket and belt for Kanra! it's frustrating me, since I only havea few more weeks for SacAnime. I haven't even started my Yui costume! Ugh. Theres a lot of things on my plate at the moment :C
I haven't really wanted to do anything lately. I've had a rough couple of weeks and my mood has been quite low, the lowest I can remember in a long while.I hope I don't need to restart therapy.

Like Hot Topic carries two things I need for cosplays; some boots, and a belt. However I'm going to see Drew tomorrow so I hope there's a mall near him. My coupon for half off an item only lasts until saturday when I work. :/

The boots are for Lucy Heartphilia, the belt for my Fem!Izaya/Kanra costume. 

I need to get paid again ;-;

oh man:

I went to a party last night. It was good in the beginning, although way too crowded. I tried a cigarette, didn't like. I tried a hit of pot, didn't like. I'm just glad I at least tried it, because now I know I don't have to waste money on either, instead of buying a whole bit of one or the other and wasting it. So I slept today away. My camisole and vest is still at the party place. My friend suggested taking chictopia pics of our outfits but when I did hers she didn't reciprocate. It's whatever I guess.

Now to go find food and drink.

I am in love with high waisted things.  I would really like a pair of high waisted swim bottoms!

Modcloth has some lovely ones, but they are way too expensive. American Apperal has some cheaper ones but I'm afraid they won't have my size. I basically want to cover up my fat hahaha.

I have a pair of high waisted lei shorts. And my pencil skirt. ugggh. I want low rise to die forever. I'm sick of having muffin top.

Costume Play

Cosplay = costume play.

You dress up as the characters and have fun plain and simple.

Some people go so far as to acting like that characters which can be annoying/awesome, depending on how it's done.

Meet Virginia

Spur of the moment design:

A pink romper with the relaxed sleeve style, and a nice leather belt, perhaps woven around the hips. Satchel like leather purse and brown leather lace up boots.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to add a head accessory because that made it seem more hippie than the feel I wanted. I don't even know what I wanted it to seem as. Maybe that's the point. It doesn't need to fit into a certain style to look good. I don't know what kind of fabric the romper would be. Cotton probably. And it flares inward a bit at the bottom of the shorts. Someday I'd like to see one of my designs made/worn.

And it would obviously have pockets on the romper. God knows we need them.
