Studio shots!

@_@ Almost done with school guys bear with me now. I'm working on my photography final right now pretty pictures shall be coming soon!

This week we took some photos in my schools studio. These are the pictures of me my friend took with my camera.

I look a bit silly I suppose. It's different posing for pictures alone in my backyard, but with 20 other people staring at me... I totally understand model pressure! There are some better pictures with my friend Stephen I took. Hopefully I can get those and post them too.

For my photography final I am taking disposable cameras and 'destroying' them to make cool effects! I have four cameras so far. For the first one, I heated the tip of a needle and scratched the edges of the lens, I hammered some holes into the body of the camera, I melted the lens with a lighter and I colored over the flash with blue sharpie. I really hope the pictures come out nice! I've been studying other photographers who've practiced this before. I will talk about that more in another post though.

 Omg Fanime is in A MONTH I am so not ready. Then Vidcon is a month afterwards! *___* So nervous. Going to have LOADS of fun though and I will take a million pictures with my friends and proceed to dump them all here.

I've been having a very stressful/upsetting week but working out has really helped me feel better. I can feel my stomach getting tighter and tighter each day. Soon enough I'll have the body I've always wanted. :)

Hi guys! I've been awol for a bit. I've been focusing a bit more on school and losing weight. I've lost three pounds so far! Getting ready for Fanime and Vidcon. ;)

Today is my birthday! I'm 20 today, no longer a teenager. :/ Weird feeling! I'm still young though.

I just bought some tickets to see Hoodie Allen next month. I'm so excited! I haven't been to a concert since Blink-182 and that was a let down.

Everyone knows mint is going to be big this spring/summer. My favorite combinations for the color are gold, cream, pink, and brown. These combinations are pretty feminine and girly and I'm not sure if they would look good on me, but at least I can put together sets and drool over what could be~

I've been seeing lebunnybleu on Flattery and I find their designs adorable! Lots of cutesy mint and pink flats. I can't wear flats though, they always end up scraping the back of my Achille's heel and after watching Haute Tension I am fiercely protective of it. Plus rabbits are my spirit animal so I am going to just pine after those shoes forever.

WOO My topshop bralet is here and I love it to death and it is da best. The material is very light but sturdy. It is a bit big but I'm scared if I traded it for a smaller size my cups would spilleth over and I do not need that. I wore this last week to my future sister-in-law's wedding dress shopping and I met all the other bridesmaids and some of her fmaily as well. it was very fun! Her mother made a beautiful cake with EDIBLE candy balls and little 'diamond' rings in them that all us bridesmaids got. Mine is sitting on my bed stand right now. C:

Oh god and that day I kept getting lost and took at least 7 different wrong turns. I was 30 minutes late to lunch and I felt really awful about making everyone wait. :<

I've had this Playsuit from Yayer for quite a while. It's very tight in the bust on me and hard to get on but the fabric is nice and airy so it's fun to wear on warm days. Unfortunately the weather today was the opposite of the weather in my last post because it started out nice and warm and by the afternoon it was FREEZING. I had such a bitchy face taking these pictures hahaha. I was very cold!

I love the color of this lipstick I bought a while back in this haul. The only thing I don't like is that there is glitter in it. Does anyone know of a nice matte shade like this? I normally don't like to wear lipstick but this shade is so pretty.

I am going to scour Goodwills and thrift shops for a nice black or white maxi skirt and cut it into a waterfall skirt. OR hi-low/high low, asymmetrical... It has so many different names! I think that would look really cute with the bralet. then some nice wayfarers, black heels, and a set of bangles. I really like wooden/gold accessories lately.

Speaking of wooden, I think a pair of wooden wedges would be pretty fabulous! I already have the high waisted shorts from H&M. A nice cardigan to keep me warm and a pretty statement ring would complete the look!

Someone suggested wearing a bright skirt with it, and I really liked the idea! It would be nice to integrate some color into my wardrobe. I think the crazy print of the skirt I found would stand out great! Then a white button up shirt to just wear as a cover up, maybe tied at the bottom. I think this look would be better as a more casual one, so I would pair it with kicks as opposed to heels. then a cute turquoise necklace to match the brightness of the skirt and you're done!

Then, in what Kurtis from theordinarypeoples would call "a Canadian tuxedo" aka denim on denim. To pull it off I think going from light to dark denim would be best. These tasseled sandals were also in my last polyvore set, they are growing on me! To match the brown shade, a pair of leopard cross earrings. A nice floppy hat and red lipstick would finish up the look nicely.

As the weather heats up (or in our case, stays the same -__- ) I am itching to buy some more high waisted shorts. I love denim so much but I only have one pair of high waisted denim shorts! Must be fixing this pronto.

I have always wanted a long white cardigan as well. I think they look cozy yet somewhat elegant. It would be a nice coverup for being at the beach as well.

I love my brown boots from Forever 21 and I want to expand my collection! I have so many shoes (which I shall be posting in a shop my closet section soon! ) I never wear so it's time to clean out and make way for new stuff. I have never had any sandals that weren't flip flops so I would really like a pair of gladiator ones! I'm usually not a big fan of tassels but I think this isn't too overbearing.

I like this new trend of bottom tied tops. I think it looks cute and gives a plain shirt just a bit more style. I have also been DYING for a bralet but have never had the chance to get one/try one on.

I don't really care much for accessories but I do love my set of gold rings I bought at H&M a bit back. They're nice to just pop on and I like wearing them with my cat ring I bought off ebay. I ended up losing my owl ring and the other rings I bought broke. :( I'll be stoking up soon on cheapo ebay rings. They may turn my fingers a bit green but I don't mind so long as my wallet stays green too.

I used to have a cheapo ( 50 cent or something. They came in a friends birthday goodie bag) pair of wayfarers that were EXCELLENT and I wore them everywhere. Unfortunately they fell off over a bridge last summer so I need to replace them! I love the wayfarer style. Classic but not to campy.

I got this strawberry EOS lip sphere for christmas and I love it! Strawberry is one of my favorite flavors, plus it leaves my lips very moist for a long time. Plus it's such a cute design! I use this and my Jamba Juice lip balms exclusively.

I have a friend who used to drink an Arizona tea every day in high school. While I was shopping a few months ago I decided to try one and now I am hooked as well! I'm not a big fan of cold tea so I mostly stick to the fruity flavors, but I do like the mango and tea one. Cheap and delicious~

I received this lovely leopard print dress from Oasap a few days ago and I love it! It is a bit short on me though so I wear it as a top instead. It's very soft and the pattern is really cute! For only $25 it is a definite must have. These are also my first outfit pictures I've take with Rose! I'm not a big fan of bright color. My normal wardrobe is black on black or denim with darker tones or neutrals. I really would like to add some pastels to my collection though to brighten and soften things up a bit. Some colors I really like are peach and mint. I really like the way peach looks with my skin tone. It's bright and warming without being too overpowering. And mint is one of my favorite colors! I don't really have any white shirts or light colored shirts either so that would be nice to have. I tend to steer from light shirts because I cannot control how much I sweat and that a) is gross, and b) ruins light colored clothing. However a nice dolman sleeve top can remedy this. :)

High waisted high waisted high waisted. My favorite trend ever. I have a very defined hourglass figure (37-26-40) so I love showing off my tiny waist. I hated the low rise trend with a passion and it was awful trying to find anything but when I was in middle/high school. I'm glad this trend is back to stay. I also am a big fan of 90's fashion. I love denim and have been dying for a denim jacket or collared shirt for a long while. It was grungy and I love the crop top trend paired with high waisted bottoms.

I first saw the Laura Mercier lip stain while reading a blog post from Keiko Lynn and I fell in love with the rosy, pink color. I have been lusting for it for a while but just never got around to buying it/asking for it. Same with the watch necklace. I think it's a cute, whimsical little accessory that is also very practical! I don't like wearing accessories much since I feel like they just get in the way so something like this would be a good thing to own! I always use this one green purse my parents bought for a me a few years back, and it's nice to have but it sometimes gets in the way when I'm walking around with my boyfriend. I think this denim backpack has a nice grungy feel to it and can hold a lot. Plus it would be easy to sling around my back and have it out of the way.

I love wedges so much (so much so I got some shipped straight from Canada lol) and I want to expand my collection. I have mostly black heels I never wear so I want to add some color to my shoe collection. I also would like another pair of nice brown boots. I really like the Forever 21 pair I own. Flat boots are so comfy but stylish!

 OH let's have a looksies at my room. You can see in the second photo a quarter of the amount of clothes I still need to photograph and put up for sale somewhere.

 

Basically I've been getting over being sick this whole past week. I went to a rave last Saturday I was stuck in the rain for about an hour trying to get in even though I had already purchased my ticket! It wasn't so bad though, I actually had a lot of fun! But I don't enjoy the 102 fever (worst night ever ;-; )and disgusting cough that still haunts me.

My classes are going pretty well. I already have some friends and my teachers are all good. It really helps to use ratemyprofessors.com before you sign up for classes! I have a mythology class, math, photography and human studies class. I wish I had the time to take a PE but I am already running around between campuses. I'll just have to get my exercise from running around outside.

 Is it weird that I don't like sleeping on sheets? I love the bare mattress and pillow! It feels so much better and it's so much easier to make my bed in the morning.
