Tennis knee

It seems like every time I play tennis, I dislocate my knee cap.

The funniest part is, I had the strongest instinct to skip this class and just drop it afterwards, but I wanted to be a good girl and go to class.

Good going.

So after having a ~100 degree fever for a week, the next day I get better I am back on bed rest.

 It's been a little over a week since it happened and I can walk without a brace on but I am very very slow and limping. It hurts when I bend it, and I can tell my other knee is getting hurt from having to bear most of my weight all the time. But my bad luck should be ending soon. Bad luck comes in threes (The last thing that happened was that a piece of my sonic screwdriver broke off :'c ) so I should be done by now. This is why I haven't been posting any new outfits, even though I desperately want to.

I bought a white vest from the big Romwe.com sale going on. It ends on the 31st, so check it out!

I might be getting a tattoo next year as well! I want to get a heart in white ink on my wrist.... even though I'm terrified of needles.  My friends and I are going to stay a weekend in Berkeley and they all want piercings and tattoos, so I feel like I will end up getting peer pressured into it unless I chicken out (which I most likely will)

Mirror, Mirror

For my humanities class, we had to make a visual project based off a word we chose from a list of words we associate or that others have used to describe you. I chose this prompt, based off of James Luna's Half Indian/Half Mexican:

"Create a face-off between two sets of opposite images – ones that reflect your chosen word, and ones that reflect its common opposite.  Inject a compromise image in the middle."

Rollerblading and art.

So I decided to buy a costume I've always wanted: Simca from Air Gear.

 

Basically she's a bad ass. Rollerblades and starts shit and doesn't give a fuck.

This also means I have to learn how to roller blade too though. :{ I can do it if I believe~

Meet Virginia

Spur of the moment design:

A pink romper with the relaxed sleeve style, and a nice leather belt, perhaps woven around the hips. Satchel like leather purse and brown leather lace up boots.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to add a head accessory because that made it seem more hippie than the feel I wanted. I don't even know what I wanted it to seem as. Maybe that's the point. It doesn't need to fit into a certain style to look good. I don't know what kind of fabric the romper would be. Cotton probably. And it flares inward a bit at the bottom of the shorts. Someday I'd like to see one of my designs made/worn.

And it would obviously have pockets on the romper. God knows we need them.
