Tennis knee

It seems like every time I play tennis, I dislocate my knee cap.

The funniest part is, I had the strongest instinct to skip this class and just drop it afterwards, but I wanted to be a good girl and go to class.

Good going.

So after having a ~100 degree fever for a week, the next day I get better I am back on bed rest.

 It's been a little over a week since it happened and I can walk without a brace on but I am very very slow and limping. It hurts when I bend it, and I can tell my other knee is getting hurt from having to bear most of my weight all the time. But my bad luck should be ending soon. Bad luck comes in threes (The last thing that happened was that a piece of my sonic screwdriver broke off :'c ) so I should be done by now. This is why I haven't been posting any new outfits, even though I desperately want to.

I bought a white vest from the big Romwe.com sale going on. It ends on the 31st, so check it out!

I can't wait to style it.

I might be getting a tattoo next year as well! I want to get a heart in white ink on my wrist.... even though I'm terrified of needles.  My friends and I are going to stay a weekend in Berkeley and they all want piercings and tattoos, so I feel like I will end up getting peer pressured into it unless I chicken out (which I most likely will)

Melted Lenses and Colored Flashes

May the Fourth be with you today.

For my Photography class final, we were allowed to choose a topic to shoot about. I chose to instead use the technique of 'destroying' a disposable camera to make vintage-y pictures. Here are some of the results!

What do you think? I like the process, I want to try again and get better at it. Too bad disposable cameras are getting hard to come by! I gotta stock up. :(

I am so close to being done with finals and FANIME is coming up right afterwards oh gosh I gotta alter things and cut wigs and pack and find pieces.
I just got a sample of a Versace perfume which I'll review in a later post.

They were cooing at me the whole time taking pictures. They made me a bit nervous.

Pigeons~! I live near the straights of the San Fransisco Bay, so it's rare for me to see pigeons. We normally have seagulls which I HATE. I was pooped on so many times at high school. :'( Welcome my pigeon friends!

 

 OH HEY BLOGGING IS SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING WHEN I SHOULD BE STUDYING FOR FINALS.
Honestly, I don't think I will pass my Latin class. :( It was way too hard for me to follow. Hopefully I at least get a D as opposed to an F for the grade.

Anyways, twirling is hella fun. This skirt is from a cosplay I bought secondhand from a girl in Hawaii~ I still have yet to go there, but hopefully I will soon! I wore this as my 'costume' (I was supposed to look like a valedictorian, did it work? ) for my acting final. I did a short scene with my friend from a play called Women and Wallace. It was very fun! I will honestly miss that class so much. I know though I will be hanging out with a lot of the people I met from there though. :)

I don't have much time since I still have to study for my first final in TWO HOURS but here is an outfit post! I haven't been posting a lot this winter, I apologize! I will pick up after finals, I promise. <3

This snake-print top is from romwe.com.  It is very cozy and warm from being lined with fleece inside of it. A good purchase I bought when they had their Black Friday sale. I also just bought a Fair Isle print scarf from them during their Christmas sale ( 30% off with the code xmas30%  ).

 The glasses are from proopticals.com.  I have taken to using them as my everyday wear glasses. They fit snugly on my face opposed to my glasses from my optometrist. Now I can finally see when I work and I can wear them to dance, but that will be almost over THANK GOD. I will tell you all about my different finals after they are over and done with. Damn this year went by so fast.

ALSO: I want to dye my hair blonde. Like, platinum, or with a pink/orange tinge. Something light, and my work wouldn't let me dye my hair teal ;-; Tell me what you think!

These pictures were fun to take.  I wore this at my dance class and I thought how appropriate it was for jumping picture.

The knee high socks are from rinkacollections on ebay! It's one of my favorite ebay stores. I own another pair of hounds-tooth socks like these in a pink color, and then lots of thigh highs too. They're really nice items for such low prices. I'm hoping to get some patterned tights from them soon.

Poor. :(

Today my debit card was declined because I over withdrew it. At least I have it so it doesn't go through still and I get charged massive fees. It was just kinda embarrassing.
I got some shoes though for cheap for dance, and more pants and another fitted tank and a cardigan.

agh.

I am doing a photoshoot with my friend tomorrow. I am so jazzed.

I need to come up with good outfits!

Back to School Shopping

So first and foremost I want to say I always thought envelope clutches were cute but kinda silly BUT NOW I UNDERSTAND.

I just bought an expanding file for school and I looked in the mirror holding it and OH. It just looks so good. I now really really want an envelope clutch.

Other school supplies I bought:

-Mechanical pencils
-Lead
-Tons of erasers
-Three notebooks

THEN I went to Target and bought:

-Purple racerback tank
-Grey yoga Pants
-Black loose fitted ACDC top

I had a sweater and another racertop in black but I took them out because I thought I didn't ahve enough money but it turns out I was 80 dollars richer than I thought I was.

I bought a couple Capezio leotards too. Useful for dance and as a bodysuit awww yeah.

back to school, ring the bell

School is only in a few weeks! Oh my god I am so nervous.

My schedule is Hip Hop Dance three times a week, Theory of Acting class twice a week, Criminal Justice, Yoga and Latin once a week.

I'm really nervous. I need to get my life together if I want to get into my dream school! I need a Yoga mat too, and dance shoes. I'll be studying a lot, that's for sure. The best thing about school though is that my dad leaves to teach tennis and I have the house to myself to take pictures for chictopia! C:
