Happy Humpday

Woohoo Wednesday! I have a Stats test today that I am terrified of taking. My teacher just... doesn't teach the way I can understand, so it is a big struggle seeing as math is the hardest subject for me. I have not been taking photos recently because my main photographer was in Costa Rica on vacation, and I used the time to focus on school as well. lots of things have happened to me though in the meantime!

I have recently got a package from Giant Vintage containing four pairs of sunglasses for me to style! It was supposed to be three, but one of the pairs (unfortunately my favorite!) was running out of stock so they sent me that style in two different colors. I am very impressed with their customer service. Here is a picture from my instagram of the pairs:

The packaging was my favorite part! How sweet of them to add some candy~ I have been using these pairs for the past week now and they are all excellent! The tortoise shell ones are actually my favorite, the lenses are tinted so when you put them on, everything looks sepia toned. The purple framed glasses are similar, but everything is tinted purple instead.

Another thing that happened was that I won a giveaway! My friend Zoe from GrandTheftThrift hosted a giveaway with FlyingTomato for this dress and I won it!:

I will take pictures in it soon! The dress is great quality and very cute. I am looking forward to styling it with my Giant Vintage shades and a white blazer. B)

As for new purchases, I am going to buy these lovely tights from tobi.com:

I love the garter legging look. Layering another pair of tights under these would be very cute in fall and winter, or in summer with a cute tank top and sneakers.

If you sign up with tobi, you can get 50% off! They update their inventory every day and discount new arrivals for a few days so you can always get a great deal. Check them out!

I must go study now, but I hope yo all have a good day! Look forward to me next post!

ViVi Clothes

Hi there!

Back from the dead to feature ViVi Clothes! They are a clothing company that sells clothes and accessories from China, Japan and Korea. I know there are lots of stores like this but there are a few things that set ViVi Clothes apart!

They have bigger sizes of shoes available! Normally stores from those countries only go up to a size 6 or 7 in the US. I'm size 8, so it always makes me sad to find a cute shoes that they don't carry in my size. Here are some shoes I think are adorable!

Another cool thing about this site is that they have cosplay things! They carry wigs, costumes, and even circle lenses! Those above boots I thought looked like a great pair for The Princess of the Crystal. Here are some nice circle lenses from their site.

And that isn't even getting to all the clothes they have! As winter approaches and I think more and more about where I'll be going to college (Minnesota hopefully!) I feel the need to revamp my summer inclined wardrobe.

Take a look around Vivi Clothes and tell me what you like!

How did you know, if I've never told...

I've got a crush on you.

Happy Valentines day! I hope you all are feeling my love as I type this right now~

Dress - Oasap
Skirt - H&M
Kneesocks - Ebay
Heels - Kohls
I received this lovely leopard print dress from Oasap a few days ago and I love it! It is a bit short on me though so I wear it as a top instead. It's very soft and the pattern is really cute! For only $25 it is a definite must have. These are also my first outfit pictures I've take with Rose! She is so lovely and precious I love her to bits~ Speaking of Dr. who references, I woke up as Matt Smith this morning:
Eat your heart out, ladies.

I have been swamped with essays and picture taking and reading and so much other stuff so I haven't been posting much. I apologize!

PS. How do you love my new header? I would make it a bit better/personalized but I'm loaning my tablet to a friend right now. The art is from Mira Ongchua, one of my favorite artists! Please check out her deviantart or her tumblr. <3

If a plane crashed into my room I wouldn't even flinch

I don't think anyone knows how much I love Ellie Goulding. She's my role model.
What do you think of the new hair? Thought I'd come into the new year with a bang. ;)

Don't fret though, it's only a wig! This is my Utena wig that I still need to style. It's so soft and lovely~
Closeup of my rings I wore. The two little gold rings are from H&M, and the fox ring is from ebay. :)

I drove 2 hours away just to get this sweater. I fell in love with it but my local store didn't carry my size, so I called every store in the bay area until I found it! It's so cozy and warm.

gold rings, sweater, and shorts from H&M
tights from asos.com
glasses from proopticals.com
boots were thrifted

These lovely glasses are from my sponsor, proopticals.com. The pink color sort of washes me out, but they matched my wig so nicely! Plus they would be fun to wear to a rave. :P

I hope you are all having a great new year so far!

you have stolen all my senses; there's a fever in my heart

There is fleece on the inside of this top. Mmmm toasty.

I don't have much time since I still have to study for my first final in TWO HOURS but here is an outfit post! I haven't been posting a lot this winter, I apologize! I will pick up after finals, I promise. <3

This snake-print top is from romwe.com.  It is very cozy and warm from being lined with fleece inside of it. A good purchase I bought when they had their Black Friday sale. I also just bought a Fair Isle print scarf from them during their Christmas sale ( 30% off with the code xmas30%  ).

fun with cutouts. teehee.

The glasses are from proopticals.com.  I have taken to using them as my everyday wear glasses. They fit snugly on my face opposed to my glasses from my optometrist. Now I can finally see when I work and I can wear them to dance, but that will be almost over THANK GOD. I will tell you all about my different finals after they are over and done with. Damn this year went by so fast.

ALSO: I want to dye my hair blonde. Like, platinum, or with a pink/orange tinge. Something light, and my work wouldn't let me dye my hair teal ;-; Tell me what you think!

out there a lonely girl can drown

So every time I want to take pictures, I have to move the garden hose and I just toss it aside willy nilly. But as I was walking over it when I finished my pictures, I realized it looked a bit like a treble clef today. I wonder what other shapes I missed!

These gorgeous frames come from proopticals! I think they are very cute and they remind me of Keiko Lynn.
I'm trying to get another job for winter. :( Jamba Juice doesn't have good business in the cold weather so my house get cut. I've had about 20 hours cut this month! I've been hounding Forever 21 but they haven't replied back yet for an interview.

I've lost so much weight this semester. Those shorts used to be crazy tight on my waist, now I can comfortably stick my hand in between the waistband and myself without it being tight at all! I think I'm around 130 now... just 20 lbs to go!

I was programmed to be Catholic but I ran

4 days left to enter my giveaway!

I am trying to figure out how to use this stupid camera. I can't get any settings right, and when someone told me to mess with the iso, the pics turned out worse. I'm so sorry, I'm trying to work on it. These pictures I stupidly turned off vivid color and the pictures came out awful.

I'm wearing an awesome pair of glasses from proopticals.com. I will wear them again in the next outfit and try and get better pictures of them. I was nervous when I got them because I was always told that larger frames looked bad on me but I think they look perfect! They also fit really snug on my head, as opposed to the glasses I get at my local optometrist. I can't even wear my glasses at work because they always slip down! Unfortunately this pair is not prescription but I am excited for the next ones I get that will be!
